Biochemistry Research in Traumatic Brain Injury

Education

Second year undergraduate student at NJIT

Research Summary

Use protocols for immunostaining and western blotting to discover biomarkers for oxidative stress in different regions of the brain after traumatic brain injury. I also quantify the data of the western blots.

About Me

During my first year at NJIT, I did a research project on oncolytic virotherapy alongside two other students. After writing a research paper and presenting my results, I wanted to continue learning and researching other biomedical engineering topics. I joined the CIMB3 at the end of my second semester in 2016 and continue to work in the biochemistry lab.Contact Info
