About Design Showcase

Design Showcase is the signature and largest fundraising event for the College of Architecture and Design at NJIT. The first Design Showcase in 2006 was created by the Dean’s Executive Council, now called the Dean’s Alumni Council.  With alumni support and a handful of sponsors, the event was deemed a success and prevails - engaging hundreds of alumni, students and professionals.

Now in its 12th year, proceeds from Design Showcase support have paved the way for student initiatives and innovative programming including animation and 3D print labs, a motion capture studio and a digital fabrication lab featuring a robotic arm.

As the School of Architecture celebrates its 45th and the School of Art + Design recognizes its 10th anniversaries in 2018, CoAD as a whole continues to embrace technology-enabled design and is committed to a broad intellectual foundation that prepares our graduates not only as young professionals but also as citizens ready to engage the issues of the day.

We are grateful to all our alumni and industry sponsors who represent small and large architectural firms, government agencies, builders, real estate developers, entrepreneurs, designers, and innovators for your support of our hard-working and talented students.
