Enterprise Development Center (EDC)

EDCThe EDC at NJIT is home to more than 90 high-tech and life-science companies. Located on the campus of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, EDC companies have access to NJIT facilities and can partner with researchers to help grow their business. EDC is in the heart of Newark’s University Heights Science Park and the Newark Innovation Zone. Information about EDC companies is available on the website.

The National Business Incubation Association has awarded the NBIA Soft  Landings International Incubator designation to the Enterprise Development Center, a business incubator operated and sponsored by the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark. Through its Soft Landings program, NBIA recognizes incubation programs that are especially capable of helping non-domestic companies enter the incubation market. The Enterprise Development Center was selected for the program because of its slate of business services for non-domestic firms and its demonstrated success at helping firms enter the U.S. market, said Randy Morris, NBIA director of membership.
