The NJIT Center for Building Knowledge Clean Energy Scholars are a group of students selected each semester to support CBK’s clean energy activities.  Their primary role is to help CBK staff research, develop content for, and produce online education focused on improving the clean energy performance of buildings across the State of New Jersey.  Results of their work are posted to the Clean Energy Learning Center, an innovative, online education portal created to educate key New Jersey stakeholders – building owners and managers, design professionals, energy and other professionals, contractors, code officials, homeowners and others – on the benefits of clean energy solutions in the built environment.

The Learning Center – and our Clean Energy Scholars – are supported by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities’ Clean Energy Program, a statewide program that offers financial incentives, programs and services for New Jersey residents, business owners and local governments to help them save energy, money and the environment.
