Breaking Waves

Shared Data and Results About Oil Transport Under Breaking Waves

The droplets transport under isolated deep-water breaking waves has been studied by combing the computational fluid dynamic framework with Lagrangian particle tracking approach. Our paper was submitted to the Journal of Geophysical Research: Ocean and currently is under review. The title is “Oil droplets transport under a deep-water plunging breaker: Impact of droplet inertia”.
