Terahertz Spectroscopy, Imaging, and Wireless Communications Lab

The Terahertz SPectroscopy, Imaging, and Communications Lab (THz SPICe Lab) is one of the main research laboratories for Profs. Federici and Gatley in the Department of Physics. The reseach emphasis of this laboratory is terahertz spectral and imaging characterization of materials, terahertz non-destructive evaluation, and terahertz wireless communications. One specific area of interest is terahertz non-destructive evaluation and materials characterization of additively manufactured materials and components.
