Colloquium Speaker: Dr. Qiang Hu
Associate Professor, Department of Space Science, The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH)

Dr. Qiang Hu has over twenty years of experience in space plasma research. His expertise spans solar and heliospheric physics. He particularly specializes in data analysis of in-situ spacecraft measurements. He earned a PhD degree in Engineering Sciences from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College in 2001. He is now an associate professor of Space Science at UAH. Dr. Hu was awarded the NASA Silver Achievement Medal in 2019 as a member of the Parker Solar Probe science team.
