Biochemistry: Therapeutic efficacy of human mesenchymal stem cells in blast-induced TBI

Education

Second year undergraduate Biology student in the Albert Dorman Honors College and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at NJIT

About me

I joined the Center for Injury Biomechanics, Materials, and Medicine during the spring semester of 2019 in order to learn lab techniques before working on my project. My project focuses on investigating the therapeutic efficacy of human mesenchymal stem cells in las induced dramatic brain injuries. Essentially, determining if it is possible to recover from a blast induced TBI and if so what would encompass the treatment plan. I am a part of the Honors Ambassadors program at the Albert Dorman Honors College.
