Director

Dr. Xiaobo Li is the Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Director of the Computational Neuroanatomy and Neuroinformatics lab (CNN lab) at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). Dr. Li received her Ph.D. in 2004 from the University of Birmingham, UK, on Computer Graphics and Imaging. She is a leading expert in using innovative computational techniques in anatomical and functional imaging data to study brain networks, and in developing and implementing advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques and toolkits to construct robust prediction models. She is also an internationally renowned scientist with established track record of neuroimaging and clinical research on the biological substrates of symptom manifestation and long-term outcomes of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Schizophrenia.
