Dr. Satoshi Inoue received a Ph.D. from Hirosima University in 2006 under the supervision of Prof. Kanya Kusano. His major is MHD theory and simulation and his primary interest is data-based numerical modeling of solar storms such as flares and CMEs. He worked as a postdoc researcher for several years in Japan (Nagoya University etc.), Korea (Kyung Hee University), Germany (Max-Planck Institute for Solar System Research) and has been appointed as an assistant professor in the Physics Department at NJIT starting March 1, 2021.
