Title:   Solar and Heliospheric Modeling and Forecasting Using WSA

Abstract:   In this talk, I provide a broad overview of some of the solar and heliospheric basic and applied research activities that I am currently involved in at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Topics include brief reviews of the Wang-Sheeley-Arge (WSA) and the Air Force Data Assimilative Photospheric Flux Transport (ADAPT) models, WSA coronal and solar wind modeling and forecasting with and without far-side active regions included in the ADAPT input maps, and solar cycle variation of total “open” solar and heliospheric magnetic fluxes.
