Colloquium Speaker: Dr. Alin Razvan Paraschiv
High Altitude Observatory (HAO)
Alin Paraschiv has completed his PhD in 2018 at Monash University in Australia where he focused on observations and interpretation of small-scale flaring and eruptive activity. He then moved to the US in Boulder as a postdoctoral researcher at NSO where he gained experience in infrared observations and coronal magnetic field inferrals and inversions. Alin is currently a postdoc at HAO where he enjoys learning more about spectropolarimetry and working with students on solar focused observations, inversions, and machine learning applications.
